A Good Sign He May Inherit My Nerdisms…

October 1, 2011

Yesterday morning we were playing upstairs after breakfast when I realized Harper had snuck into my (unlit) office. I turned on the light to see this. Kid dropped his block (that stuff is for babies!) and hit the floor to use the Apple keyboard that I have chillin’ down there. Love this kid!

Harper Walking, Playing with Boxes, and Stealing Phones and Mice

Here are four quick videos from today. He is walking and he is really active! I have about 3 weeks of videos I need to upload – so look for more on the genesis of his walking in the coming days. :)

And yes – he is walking! Video to come. I have a TON of it and I have been slacking on uploading it to YouTube. :)

Harper and his Walker, Cat, Ball, and Grandpa

August 18, 2011

I have compiled quite a few videos over the past few weeks and I’ve managed to get quite behind in posting them! Harper received a walker from the Hannons and he just loves it. He is able to tool around really well with it. He has to be quite close to walking completely on his own!

Walking Harp II
Walking Harp III

His new game is to look for me behind him and get all excited…kind of like chasing him. :)

We were bored one day and I bought him a big ball at Target. At least 5 minutes of hilarity ensued. So the purchase was well justified. :)

We also went to my Dad’s house and spent some time there with him and his dogs (Harper’s favorite!).

And last, but definitely not least, Harper meets Bill – his new cat at his Mom’s house!

Harp Meets Blue

August 7, 2011

We ran into Blue from Blue’s Clues while walking around the Mall of America. Harper, of course, has no idea who Blue is, but he recognized that he was a dog and couldn’t stop talking about him. Once he came out of his carrier to meet him he became real shy and scared, though – I guess he just wanted to look and not get too close. :) Afterwards he could not stop talking about the dog he saw. Dog, dog, doooggg!

Harper’s New Toy

The best part about this video is that I was able to catch Harper say his new favorite phrase – “uh oh!” – it’s pretty cute!
